Welcome to Pirates Bay Waterpark! To help every guest enjoy their day, please review the policies below before your visit. These guidelines are in place for the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of everyone in the park.
Pirate's Bay Waterpark Policies and Guidelines
Waterpark Hours

Admission & Ticket Pricing
All guests entering Pirates Bay must purchase admission and wear a valid wristband for the day of entry, including those who are not participating in attractions.
- Current admission rates are:
- General Admission: $24.99 + tax
- Non-Participant Pass (available at the gate only): $10.00 + tax
- Senior Admission (65+): $19.99 + tax
- Military & First Responders (available at the gate only with valid ID): $19.99 + tax
- Late-Day Admission after 4:00 PM (available at the gate only): $14.99 + tax
- Children ages 3 and under: FREE
Parking
Parking is included with admission and is available at no additional cost.
Safety & Supervision
- Swimming and participation in water attractions are at your own risk.
- Guests are responsible for their own safety and the supervision of all members of their party, including children.
- While lifeguards may be on duty during designated hours, their presence does not eliminate the inherent risks associated with swimming and water activities.
- Pool attendants, where provided, assist with facility operations and guest service and are not acting as lifeguards unless specifically designated as such.
For child safety
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible companion who is at least 16 years old.
- For the safety and enjoyment of all guests:
- Running is prohibited throughout the waterpark.
- Horseplay, roughhousing, and unsafe behavior are not permitted.
- Guests are expected to follow all posted rules and staff instructions.
Food & Beverage Policy
- To help keep Pirates Bay clean, safe, and enjoyable for all guests:
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
- Concession seating areas are reserved for guests enjoying food and drinks purchased inside the park.
- Pizza parties, group meals, and other food gatherings require prior management approval.
- No glass bottles or glass containers of any kind are permitted inside the waterpark grounds.
- Sealed water bottles and baby formula are permitted.
- Guests may be asked to remove prohibited items before entering the park.
Flotation Devices
Guests may bring their own flotation devices provided they are U.S. Coast Guard approved.
For safety reasons
- Personal flotation devices and life jackets are not permitted on water slides.
- Attraction-specific rules must always be followed.
Swimwear & Dress Code
- Appropriate swimwear is required at all times.
- The following are not permitted:
- Thongs
- Transparent clothing
- Denim
- Long pants worn in water attractions
For guest safety
- Swimwear with metal buttons, rivets, zippers, or snaps may not be used on water slides.
- Swim diapers are required for all diaper-dependent guests.
- To maintain a family-friendly environment:
- Clothing or body art that is rude, offensive, or vulgar must be covered.
- Pirates Bay reserves the right to determine appropriate attire.
Guests Wearing Casts
- Guests wearing casts may be permitted to enjoy certain attractions.
- Because some rides require specific body positioning, grip strength, or movement, Pirates Bay may:
- Restrict participation on certain attractions.
- Require casts to be covered to prevent damage to attractions.
- Safety decisions are made at the discretion of park management.
Service Animals & Pets
- Pets are not permitted inside Pirates Bay.
- Certified service animals are welcome and must:
- Remain leashed or under the handler's control at all times.
- Stay on deck surfaces and out of the water.
- Please do not leave pets unattended in vehicles.
Locker Rentals & Personal Belongings
- Daily locker rentals are available for $10 per day.
- Guests are encouraged to secure valuables and personal belongings throughout their visit. Pirates Bay is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended items.
Chairs & Seating
Outside chairs, loungers, and similar seating items are not permitted inside the park.
Smoking Policy
- For the comfort of all guests, smoking of any kind is prohibited inside Pirates Bay, including:
- Cigarettes
- Cigars
- E-cigarettes
- Vaporizers
Drones & Remote-Controlled Devices
- Drones and remote-controlled vehicles are prohibited.
- Unauthorized drone activity may be reported to:
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- Local law enforcement
- This policy helps protect guest safety and privacy.
Shade Structures & Umbrellas
Guests may bring
- Chair-mounted umbrellas
- Chair-mounted parasols
- The following are not permitted:
- Tents
- Freestanding shade structures
- Stakes or anchors inserted into the ground
Re-Entry
- Guests may leave and return during the same day.
- Before exiting:
- Visit the designated exit area.
- Have your hand stamped.
- A valid hand stamp is required for re-entry.
Weather, Closures & Rain Checks
Guest safety is our top priority.
During periods of inclement weather
- Water attractions may temporarily close.
- Guests may be required to leave attractions and seek shelter.
- Attractions will reopen once conditions are determined safe.
Severe or sustained weather may result in
- Delayed openings
- Early closures
- Full-day closures
Weather updates are shared on Pirates Bay social media channels.
If Pirates Bay closes before 4:00 PM due to inclement weather, guests may receive a rain check.
Rain checks
- Are issued at the ticket booth.
- Are valid for one return visit during the same calendar year.
- Are subject to park operating schedules and policies.
