- What is your refund policy? All refunds will be issued only to the original payment method and the same credit card used for the purchase. This policy is in place for fraud protection and security purposes. Please note that once a refund is processed, it may take several business days for the funds to appear in the guest’s bank account, depending on their financial institution.
- Are day passes available for non-overnight guests at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Yes, there is a limited number of day passes available, and they are based on availability. The day passes provide you with access to most attractions and amenities during park hours.
- Are campfires allowed at campsites and cabins at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Yes, campfires are allowed in designed fire rings at each site, weather permitting. Firewood is available at the Ranger Station. Be sure to check out our community fire pit.
- Power Outages & Utility Interruptions
Why does the park experience power outages?
Our park is located in a rural area where utility service interruptions occasionally occur. When outages happen, they typically affect not only our resort but also the surrounding community. These outages are managed and repaired by the local utility provider, and restoration timelines are determined by their crews.
What should I expect during a power outage?
When utility power is unavailable, electric service throughout the resort will be interrupted. Depending on the duration and severity of the outage, certain amenities, activities, food service, retail operations, and guest services may be limited or temporarily unavailable. Our team will make reasonable efforts to continue providing guest activities and services when conditions allow, but operations may be modified based on available resources and safety considerations.
Will water and sewer services be available?
No. Our water and wastewater systems require commercial electrical service to operate. During an extended power outage, water service, restroom facilities, bathhouses, and sewer-dependent amenities may become unavailable until utility power is restored.
Will the bathhouses remain open?
Bathhouses and restroom facilities may be closed during power outages due to water and wastewater system limitations. These facilities cannot reopen until power has been restored and all systems have been inspected and returned to normal operation.
How quickly will services return once power is restored?
While electrical service may return immediately, many resort systems require additional time to restart, stabilize, and be inspected for proper operation. Water systems, wastewater systems, pools, food service equipment, point-of-sale systems, and other resort amenities may not be available immediately following restoration of power.
Will I receive updates during an outage?
Yes. Our team will provide updates as information becomes available from the utility provider and will communicate any operational changes affecting guests.
Will refunds or credits be issued due to power outages?
Utility outages are beyond the control of the resort and are considered circumstances affecting the broader community, not just the campground. As a result, refunds, credits, or compensation are generally not provided for utility interruptions, including loss of electrical, water, wastewater, or related services resulting from area-wide power outages.
Should I prepare for the possibility of an outage?
As with any rural destination, we recommend bringing flashlights, portable battery packs, and any other items necessary for your comfort during an unexpected utility interruption. Guests who rely on electrically powered medical equipment should make appropriate contingency plans prior to arrival.

- What is the minimum age to rent a cabin at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Guests will need to be at least 21 years old to make a reservation and check-in. Also, a valid government-issued ID is required at check-in.
- Does Jellystone Park™ Austin North have a lazy river or pool? Yes! We have a lazy river and an adventure pool complete with fun water features!
- What types of activities are available for families at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? During your trip, you can enjoy gem mining, arts and crafts, themed dance parties, and daily character meet-and-greets with Yogi Bear™.
- Is there a place to watch outdoor movies at night at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Yes! Our Camp-Resort hosts outdoor movie nights on certain nights. So, bring your blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy family movies under the sun.
- Are there picnic tables and grills at each site at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Yes, campsites and most cabins have picnic tables and fire rings or grills for outdoor cooking and dining options.
- Can we decorate our cabin or campsite for events at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Yes! Decorating your cabins or campsites is encouraged during themed weekends; however, all décor must be safe, respectful, and removed before check-out.
- Are pets allowed at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Yes, your pets are welcome in the designated pet-friendly cabins and RV sites. All pets must always be on a leash, and owners are responsible for clean-up and behavior.
- What are your pool/splash feature hours at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Our pool and lazy river are open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, plenty of time for cannonballs, lazy lounging, and pretending you're a mermaid.
- What time is check-in and check-out at Jellystone Park™ Austin North? Check-in is at 3 PM for cabins and 1 PM for campsites. Check-out for all accommodation is at 11 AM. Early check-in may be available for an additional fee.
