Guest Guidelines for a Great Stay
At Great Escapes RV Park Elgin, our goal is to provide a safe, peaceful, and comfortable environment where guests can relax and enjoy their stay. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, these Guest Guidelines help set clear expectations and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Campfire Guidelines
Fires are permitted in grills or approved outdoor fireplaces only. Ground fires are not allowed.
Guests must follow any active burn bans issued by Travis County or park management.
Quiet Hours & Community Courtesy
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
We ask all guests to be respectful of others and help maintain a calm and welcoming environment. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may require management involvement.
Sites, Parking & Getting Around
For everyone's safety and comfort:
- Please observe the posted speed limit of 10 MPH
- Drive on designated roads only
- Do not drive through campsites
- A maximum of two vehicles per site is allowed
- Vehicles must be in good condition with current tags
If you need additional parking, please contact the office to make arrangements.
Site Expectations
To help keep the park clean and consistent for all guests:
- One RV is permitted per site
- Sites must be kept neat, tidy, and free of clutter
- No tents, tarps, carports, or pools are allowed
- No storage buildings are permitted
- Up to four storage bins may be kept under your RV
- Outdoor furniture, grills, and décor are allowed in moderation
Any site improvements or modifications must be approved in advance.
Utilities & Hookups
All connections must be properly secured and maintained.
- Sewer connections must have a tight seal using a donut or approved connector
- Sewer hoses should be elevated off the ground
- Electrical cords and hoses must remain within your site
For monthly stays, electricity is metered at $0.14 per kWh, and a valid credit card must remain on file.
Trash & Cleanliness
Help us keep the park clean and enjoyable for everyone:
- Use designated dumpsters for trash and recycling
- All trash must be tied in bags and placed inside dumpsters
- Do not leave trash outside your RV at any time
- Do not dispose of large or non-household items
Improper disposal or excessive cleanup may result in additional fees.
Pets
Pets are welcome and must be properly supervised at all times.
- Pets must be leashed (maximum 6 feet) or contained
- Pets may not be left unattended outside
- Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately
- Portable pet fences are not permitted
Pets are not allowed in the pool area, laundry facilities, restrooms, or other common areas.
Nuisance barking or aggressive behavior may require alternate arrangements.
Safety & General Restrictions
To maintain a safe and peaceful environment, the following are not permitted:
- Fireworks
- Illegal activity
- Vehicle repairs or oil changes
- Construction or remodeling work
- Clotheslines
Guests may only use the park WiFi for lawful purposes. High-bandwidth use such as streaming, gaming, running a business, or attending online classes is not supported.
Laundry Facilities
Please do not leave laundry unattended. Items left in machines may be removed so other guests may use the facilities.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any buildings or common areas.
Reservations, Deposits & Payments
A $150 electrical deposit is required at booking for monthly stays. This deposit is refundable and cannot be applied toward rent.
Rent must be paid on time to avoid a $25 per day late fee.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Campsites: Cancel 8 or more days prior to arrival to receive a refund minus a $30 service fee. Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit.
No-shows are subject to the same cancellation policy.
Camping is an outdoor experience, and refunds are not provided due to weather or early departures.
Final Check-Out
Monthly stays are not prorated. Final charges and deposit refunds are calculated based on the actual check-out date.
Items left on-site after departure may be disposed of. Any outstanding balances may be charged to the card on file.
Management Discretion
Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit occupancy, or terminate a guest's stay when necessary to maintain safety and the overall guest experience.
