It's a course, not a raft. That's the part people don't picture until they're standing on the shore.
You climb something. You fall off. You climb back on. There's a balance beam you will not balance on. There's a slide. There's a trampoline section that redistributes your entire skeleton. Labor Day weekend is last call, and it's busy
Labor Day weekend at the resort is a themed weekend, "Work Hard, Play Hard," September 4-7. So you get the final Wibit days plus programming on property.
It's also the same weekend as the Branson Wings of Pride Air Show at Branson Airport, September 5-7, with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headlining. And the Southern Gospel Picnic at Silver Dollar City runs through September 7.
Three things, one weekend, one region's worth of campsites. If you want the last Wibit weekend of the year, this is not a booking to sit on.
How to actually plan a Wibit day
Go Friday or Saturday if you can. Those are the 8pm nights. Sunday through Thursday it closes at 6.
Sort the life jackets at check-in. Get the stay rate if you're there more than two days, or throw your own in the car.
Sunscreen before, not during. Nobody is reapplying sunscreen on a kid who has finally made it to the top of the climbing wall.
Feed them beforehand. A hungry child on a floating obstacle course is a negotiation you will lose in front of witnesses.
Two towels per person. You think one is fine. It is not fine.
Water shoes are optional but your feet will thank you.
There's a lot more than the Wibit on 65 acres
