"Vacation package" is one of those phrases that sounds like savings and often just means somebody bundled a hotel room with two tickets to a show nobody picked.
So here is the straight version.
Great Escapes RV Resort Branson does not sell bundled lodging-plus-activity packages. What it sells is lodging, with a surprisingly long list of discount codes stacked behind it. For most families, those codes save more than any package would.
Worth knowing before anyone books at full price.
The Discount Codes, All in One Place
Most of these cannot be combined with each other, so the move is picking the one that fits the trip.
Stay longer, pay less:
- 3FOR20. 20% off any three Sunday through Thursday nights. Excludes holidays, limited availability.
- 5FOR25. 25% off a five-night Sunday through Thursday stay. Excludes holidays.
- STAY6GET1FREE. Book six nights, the seventh is free. Works on both sites and cabins. Excludes holidays.
- FREE5THNIGHT. Pay four nights on a campsite, get the fifth free. Campsites only, excludes holidays.
Tack a night onto a weekend:
- EXTFUN25. $25 off when a Thursday or Sunday night is added to a weekend RV or tent stay.
- EXTFUN50. 50% off that added Thursday or Sunday night on a cabin. This one is quietly the best value on the list.
Who you are discounts, good year round:
- MILITARY. 10% off for active and retired military.
- VETERANS30. 30% off for veterans and active military, all of November, with military ID at check-in.
- HERO. 10% off for first responders, EMTs and medical staff.
- TEACHER10. 10% off for teachers.
- HOMESCHOOL15. 15% off midweek with a three-night minimum, on cabins and RV sites. Homeschool ID at check-in.
Right now only:
- FREECART. A free four-person golf cart with any glamping tent or covered wagon booking, on stays through October 31, 2026.
The pattern across almost all of it: midweek and longer beats weekend and short. A Sunday through Thursday stay with 5FOR25 runs considerably less than two weekend nights at rack rate.
Where to Sleep
Everything sits on 65 shaded acres in Forsyth, which means a group with wildly different standards of comfort can still book the same resort.
RV and tent sites. Full hookups at 30 and 50 amp on concrete pads, pull-thru and back-in, fitting rigs up to 60 feet. Executive sites have the most room, and the Doggie Den sites are built for guests traveling with dogs. Every campsite gets a fire ring, picnic table and charcoal grill.
Cabins and cottages. Fully furnished, with heat, a kitchen and a door that closes. The pick for anyone who does not own an RV and has no interest in pretending otherwise.
Glamping tents and pioneer covered wagons. Both furnished, both sleeping four, both standing and ready on arrival. The wagon is the one the kids describe to their entire class on Monday, and there are only six on the property. These are warm-weather accommodations and get winterized for the cold months.
Extended stays. Monthly sites run $600 for 2026 and $700 for 2027, with metered electricity billed separately.
What Comes With Any Stay
This is the part a bundled package would charge extra for.
Themed weekends run nearly every weekend of the season, and the activities inside them are included. So are the playground, gaga ball, basketball, walking trails, dog park and general store. Summer adds two pools, a foam slide and the Wibit floating obstacle course, which runs Memorial Day through Labor Day.
A handful of extras carry a fee and come bundled into Fun Passes, which is the closest thing here to an actual package. The Season Pass runs $84.99 and covers Memorial Day through Labor Day.
There is also Biscuit, the resort corgi, who maintains a more active social calendar than most guests.
Where It Is and What's Nearby
Great Escapes RV Resort Branson sits at 210 Shoals Bend Boulevard in Forsyth, about 14 miles and 22 minutes from downtown Branson via US-160.
That puts Silver Dollar City, Branson Landing and the theater district within an easy drive, while keeping the resort out of the strip traffic that eats an hour of every evening. Table Rock Lake is roughly 19 miles out, and Lake Taneycomo and Bull Shoals both sit right around Forsyth, which is why the fishing crowd keeps turning up.
Picking the Right Setup
Families with young kids. A cabin, booked midweek with 3FOR20 or 5FOR25. Real beds, a kitchen, and climate control matter more than people expect by night three.
RV travelers. A full-hookup site plus FREE5THNIGHT, which turns four paid nights into five.
Couples. A covered wagon or glamping tent in the warm months, or a cabin once the weather turns.
Multi-family groups. Book adjacent sites and cabins. The RV people get their hookups, the hotel people get a kitchen, and everyone shares the same fire ring.
Anyone staying a month or more. The extended stay rate, without question.
