The Jenkins Organization Acquires Great Escapes RV Resort North Texas

HOUSTON, TX – November 30, 2020 – THE JENKINS ORGANIZATION, INC., has acquired Great Escapes RV Resort North Texas, formerly known as Mitchell Resort and RV Park. This is TJO’s fourth RV park acquisition as they continue to grow in the campground industry.
TJO plans on making significant improvements to the park, including construction of a 5 acre lake, the addition of a 10,000 square foot store and café, Splash Park, a Wibits water obstacle course, a jumping pillow, Water Wars, Gaga ball pit, human foosball and golf cart rentals. Additionally, they are adding a full children’s activities program to the mix. The park, which has been rebranded as Great Escapes North Texas, will be the second in TJO’s portfolio of Great Escapes branded parks, with 5 ongoing new developments to follow. Great Escapes North Texas will be a family-friendly park geared towards short-term vacation campers.
